Emma Accepting Applications for “Emma 25”
Program annually donates a lifetime of email marketing services to 25 charities
NASHVILLE, Tenn. Oct. 27, 2011 – Applications opened today for “Emma 25,” a program run by email marketing service provider Emma, Inc. that annually awards 25 charitable organizations free email marketing tools for the lifetime of the nonprofit. Emma has donated services to more than 175 nonprofits worldwide through Emma 25, now in its eighth year of operation.
“These small nonprofits are doing some pretty big things, and every year when we bring more organizations into the Emma 25 fold, we’re amazed by the many ways that good people are helping to make the world a better place,” said Emma CEO Clint Smith. “We hope that the free email marketing services we provide to these organizations adds a little more betterness to the world. I know that the fulfillment Emma staffers receive from this program makes us a better company.”
Emma 25 organizations receive an Emma account, an email stationery design and a lifetime of email and survey service, all at no cost. Emma 25 honorees also receive unlimited support and account help, and access to special classes on mastering the fundamentals of email marketing.
If you are a member of an 501(c)3 organization that has 10 or fewer full-time employees, you can apply for the Emma 25 at myemma.com/emma25. Existing Emma customers are welcome to apply. (But only if they are not already Emma 25 honorees, of course, since it’s hard to make free services for life any freer.) Applications will be accepted through Monday, November 21.
“It’s our hope that by helping these organizations manage their email communications, they can better talk with their donors and volunteers and improve the lives of people in their communities even more,” Smith said.
Emma 25 recipients from last year included:
- Center for Community Counseling, a community of counselors in Eugene, Oregon who teach parenting classes for as little as $1
- The Coalition for Kids, Inc., a community of volunteers in Johnson City, Tennessee who teach and counsel underprivileged children.
- Dress for Success Austin, an Austin group suiting up disadvantaged women for their careers.
- NYCSalt, a community of New York City photographers encouraging inner-city teens to express themselves.
