Toadman Interactive signs agreement to acquire 100% of the rights for Project Osiris from Leyou

Toadman Interactive AB (publ) (“Toadman”) has today signed an agreement with Leyou Technologies Holdings Limited (“Leyou”), pursuant to which Toadman is entitled to all rights for the game Project Osiris from Leyou when the cash consideration of US$2.6 million is fully paid, consisting of an initial payment of US$1.3 million and an additional second payment of US$1.3 million to be paid within 2 years. Toadman has previously owned 20% of the revenues. When the initial payment is made pursuant to the agreement, Toadman will own 100% of the revenues. When the second payment is made pursuant to the agreement, Toadman will own all rights for the game assigned by Leyou.
Toadman has worked on Project Osiris for over 2 years. It makes Project Osiris one of Toadman’s largest games in its portfolio. Together with Petrol, Toadman will reveal content and additional plans for Project Osiris during the first half of 2020.
The rationale to acquire Project Osiris from Leyou is in line with Toadman’s ambitions to increase revenues from own games, while having a balanced mix of diversified revenue streams. Also, by having both a world-renowned marketing agency in Petrol and an in-house publisher in Sold-Out, Toadman has the tools in-house to get the game to market.
