Supporting evidence-based surgical pathways through structured audit

Encare today announced that the ERAS® Interactive Audit System (EIAS) will be expanded at Mayo Clinic to further support implementation and monitoring of evidence-based perioperative care pathways. The solution was selected based on its ability to address a real-world clinical need using a data-driven, scalable approach, with the intention of advancing patient-centered care and operational effectiveness.

EIAS supports Mayo Clinic healthcare teams by enabling structured capture and analysis of perioperative process and outcome data, helping improve protocol adherence, clinical governance, and pathway performance across surgical service lines. Through collaboration with Mayo Clinic Platform_Solutions Studio, the solution was evaluated for clinical relevance, intended use, and performance, and deployed into clinical workflows to support meaningful, real-world impact.

“Working with Mayo Clinic Platform _Solutions Studio has enabled us to validate that our solution can be implemented and sustained in one of the world’s most advanced healthcare environments,” said Rasmus Waller, CEO of Encare. “This collaboration reinforces the importance of structured measurement, benchmarking, and governance in delivering consistently high-quality perioperative care for patients.”

Mayo Clinic Platform _Solutions Studio accelerates the development and deployment of digital health solutions by offering access to global, federated de-identified data and scalable integration into clinical workflows. The program evaluates each solution for intended use, proposed value, and clinical and algorithmic performance, providing transparency and credibility and enabling adoption of transformative health technologies.
