Encare today announced the appointment of Charlotta Gummeson to its Board of Directors. With extensive experience in life science – spanning global pharma, investment management, and innovation ecosystems – she brings strategic expertise focused on commercialization, scaling, and international partnerships, strengthening Encare’s position for global expansion and long-term value creation.
Charlotta Gummeson brings broad leadership expertise from life science and healthtech, including senior commercial roles at global pharma companies GSK and Astellas, where she was responsible for business and market development. She also has solid experience in investment management, with a focus on funding and scaling high-potential companies. As CEO of Sahlgrenska Science Park, one of Northern Europe’s largest life science and technology parks, Gummeson was instrumental in building an internationally recognized innovation ecosystem that connects research, industry, and capital.
