FOUNDER OF ENCARE AWARDED THE “DISTINGUISHED NUTRITION SUPPORT INTERNATIONAL SERVICE AWARD”

Professor Olle Ljungqvist, the founder of Encare, has been awarded the 2019 Distinguished Nutrition Support International Award in connection with the recently held American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) Congress in Phoenix, Arizona.

He was awarded “for his exceptional leadership and clinical practice contributions”. Professor Ljungqvist is also one of the founders of ERAS^® Society (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery), www.erassociety.org, which mission is to develop perioperative care and to improve recovery through research, education, audit and implementation of evidence-based practice.
