Synergenix To Use Terraplay 's Connected Gaming Service For New Titles
Synergenix, the European subsidiary of mobile games publisher Kayak Interactive, will use Terraplay's global gaming network to enable connected gaming in a number of forthcoming games.
Synergenix will use the global gaming network created by Terraplay to enable the company to build a global gaming community around many of their new games titles. The Terraplay global gaming network is based on the MOVE Connect gaming platform and will enable Synergenix to incorporate connected gaming features such as global high score and leader boards, competitions, track downloads, in-game billing, and multiplayer competition. Synergenix will also be able to access online real-time statistics tools to monitor usage of all their connected games on all markets. Synergenix' high profile portfolio of games includes original titles as well as a number of mobile versions of popular PC and console games licensed from leading video game publishers. Many of the games are available in high-end 3D versions as well as simpler 2D versions for low-end handsets. “Synergenix has already made many advances in multiplayer and connected gaming”, says CEO Martin Forsling, “The Terraplay gaming network will enable us to expand this aspect of our games and incorporate a number of new services, such as global cross-operator game communities in and around many of our new games." “Synergenix and Terraplay are pioneers in the mobile multiplayer gaming sector, having demonstrated high-end, real-time, multiplayer games over two years ago,” says Terraplay's CEO Sven Hålling. “Now we have added extensive community features and in-game billing to ensure our service is the world standard for this exciting new arena. We are looking forward to working with Synergenix once more, on a truly global scale!”
