Terraplay Systems appoints Sven Hålling as new CEO

Stockholm February 11, 2005 Sven Hålling, the former CEO of It’s Alive, a leading Swedish mobile game developer responsible for such successful multiplayer titles as “Botfighters”, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Terraplay Systems. It’s Alive merged last year with Daydream, a publicly traded Swedish games publisher. Sven also has long international experience in mobile infrastructure and service platform sales.

Sven takes over from Jeremy Lewis, who has filled the role since September 2002. Jeremy led the company through its initial launch of award-winning products to its first revenues and profits. He helped establish it as a leading provider of network technology and closed two successful funding rounds. Jeremy continues with the company as Chairman of the Advisory Board and returns to the UK. “Terraplay is getting good traction with mobile network operators and market leading game publishers and developers, and is in a good position to be the leading technology for enabling multiplayer mobile gaming and running strong global multiplayer communities”, says Sven Hålling CEO of Terraplay, “and I look forward to work with a great team on this exciting challenge.” “We are very pleased to have Sven on board.
