YTL e-Solutions subsidiary Hipmobile launches Terraplay multiplayer gaming service in Malaysia.

Stockholm January 10, 2005 Hipmobile, a leading game service provider, a subsidiary of YTL e-Solutions, a premier Malaysian ICT Company, and Terraplay Systems signed a partnership today to provide multiplayer mobile gaming in Malaysia.

Hipmobile is focusing on becoming Malaysia's leading wireless content provider and will be offering multiplayer mobile games based on Terraplay’s network solution, Terraplay MOVE, to Malaysian cellular subscribers. Hipmobile’s wide network of game developers will also provide games for this service. The Terraplay networking technology, Terraplay MOVE, is a network solution for mobile multiplayer gaming and is in service with a growing number of the mobile operators in both 2.5G and 3G networks. It is based on Terraplay’s powerful fixed line multiplayer technology which is in service today supporting on-line Playstation®2 gaming.
