Endomines announces winners of Gold competition
Endomines is pleased to announce the winners of the “Gold Competition”, a Layman Sample Competition.
Endomines organized a layman sample competition in co-operation with the Geological Survey of Finland in Ilomantsi of Eastern Finland. The competition took place during summer period of 2015. About 70 boulder or bedrock samples were received during the competition. Most of the samples were very interesting and some of them returned good assay results from further laboratory analysis.
The winners of the competition will be rewarded at the Pampalo mine on Wednesday December 9 2015. The winning samples were all from the previously unknown exploration targets and confirm the high exploration potential of the Karelian Gold line and associated area.
Winner of the first prize of 1,500 EUR is Mr Juha Turpeinen with a boulder sample having 1.15 g/t of gold, second prize of 1,000 EUR goes to Mr Tuomo Ikonen with a boulder sample having 21.4 % of copper and the third prize of 500 EUR goes to Mr Seppo Perkkiö and Mr Arvi Hirvonen with a bedrock samples having 2.8 % of zinc. A 100 EUR prize will be given to Mr Lasse Salminen for delivering several interesting samples to the competition.
Based on the samples, the Company has placed a claim reservation application to some new areas to protect its future mineral rights.
