Equisys invests in Enea technology for its Fax over IP Software Product
Enea Netbricks IAF-Bricks is now integrated in the Standard Edition Zetafax FoIP Connector from Equisys
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, 1 September, 2010 – Enea today announced that Equisys has selected its Netbricks® IAF-Bricks technology. Part of the Enea Netbricks line of telecom protocols, IAF-Bricks combines all the telecommunications protocols (T.30, T.38 and SIP) required to implement Fax over IP (FoIP), simplifying the amount of implementation work required, while guaranteeing high-levels of interoperability. Using IAF-Bricks dramatically reduces the software development effort and speeds time-to-market. The technology is widely deployed in many different FoIP products such as terminals and servers. In addition, Enea also offers a FoIP package dedicated to gateways named T38GW-Bricks.
Equisys has embedded IAF-Bricks into the Standard Edition Zetafax FoIP Connector which was recently launched alongside Zetafax 2010, the latest version of its award winning fax server software. Using selected standalone gateways, the new Standard Edition FoIP Connector provides a cost-effective solution for companies wishing to integrate the Zetafax server with IP telephone systems, or deploy Zetafax in a virtualized server environment.
Equisys selected Enea due to its need for a long-term partner offering outstanding technical support and constant attention to the latest standards.
