Adjusted forecast for full year 2000 At the request of the Board of Directors, the President and Chief Executive Officer of ENEA DATA AB presents an adjusted forecast for the full year 2000. The consulting business is experiencing continued very strong demands and is developing well. Enea OSE Systems has been very successful on the market with important design wins in the communications segment, especially on the U.S. market. However, this has not resulted in correspondingly strong sales volumes in the fourth quarter, why the year ended below our expectations, especially in Europe. This means that the previously presented forecast can not be met. The profit for the entire Enea Group, including Enea OSE Systems, is expected to end at about SEK 25 million instead of previously forecasted SEK 45-70 million before goodwill amortization and excluding surplus funds credited by SPP. The loss for the subsidiary group Enea OSE Systems is expected to end at about SEK -60 million instead of previously forecasted SEK -20 - -40 million. Sales are expected to end above SEK 255 million (up 46%) instead of previously forecasted SEK 280 million. A more detailed presentation with comments will be presented in the Preliminary Report of 2000 Earnings, 2001-02-02.
