Changed Outlook for Full Year 2001 The Chief Executive Officer of Enea Data AB states that the previous full year forecast can not be reached. OSE Systems will now reduce its staff by up to 70 persons, of which up to 25 in Sweden, in order to save about SEK 100 Million on a full year basis. Our liquidity continues good and the judgement stands that no external funding will be needed. The slowdown on the global telecom market is continuing and it is most uncertain when this situation will change. The recent terrorist actions in the US have made the uncertainty even bigger. The slowdown is severely affecting the sales for our OSE products, which causes the full year forecast not to be reached. The visibility going forward is still very low, not least concerning the fourth quarter, which normally accounts for up to half of the full year sales for the OSE products. In conjunction with the interim report for the second quarter, we forecasted the full year result for the group to be about SEK -100 Million excluding good will amortization, net sales for OSE Systems to be more than SEK 320 Million and the full year result for OSE Systems to be a loss of SEK 120 to 150 Million. This forecast will not be reached. We are now immediately launching a cost reduction program for the OSE group to adapt the company to current market conditions. This includes reducing the staff with up to 70 persons, of which up to 25 in Sweden. This program is estimated to save about SEK 100 Million in costs on a full year basis. Due to the current market conditions, especially regarding the global telecom market, the Board of Directors judge that no new forecast can be given for the 2001 earnings. Thanks to previous cost savings and successful collection of receivables the liquidity continues good and the judgement stands that no external funding will be needed.
