Enea OSE Systems Expands into Japanese Market Tokyo, Japan - November 28, 2000 - Enea OSE Systems today announced its plans to open its first Asian office this winter. Located in Tokyo, Enea OSE Systems KK will be fully operational in February 2001. By establishing a presence in Japan, Enea OSE Systems will be able to offer its local customers increased service and support, as well as increase its Asian sales and distributor relationships. The opening of an Enea OSE Systems' location in Japan is a long-term strategic initiative. The Japanese market is important to Enea OSE Systems' business goals. Long-term revenue from Japan is estimated to become over 15% of Enea OSE Systems' worldwide revenue. The new office, located at 1-4-2 Kanda Ogawa-machi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, will consist of 6 full-time staff during its first year of operations. With this Asian expansion, Enea OSE Systems hopes to build upon the TM existing Japanese market for the OSE realtime operating system (RTOS), providing technology and services to the rapidly growing embedded development sector. Enea OSE Systems will work closely with Softboat in a Tokyo-based reseller partnership. Enea OSE Systems believes the Asian telecom and datacom markets are still dominated by proprietary RTOSs and are fertile ground for a commercial RTOS with OSE's capabilities.
