August events from English Heritage in Yorkshire
The sun has finally put in an appearance, so English Heritage is encouraging families all over Yorkshire to head outdoors and enjoy some of the best events in the region at its historic castles, abbeys and country houses. The programme promises something for everyone, from dramatic presentations of Dracula at Whitby Abbey, to medieval dressing up at Clifford’s Tower in York, and lazy Sunday afternoons listening to South Yorkshire’s finest brass bands at Brodsworth Hall & Gardens, near Doncaster.
