Easter Family Fun Trails
English Heritage's Easter events for the West Midlands
Catch him if you can! The Easter bunny has been up to his old tricks at some of English Heritage West Midlands sites laying trails to yummy treats for families that can track down all the clues.
Easter Family Fun Trails will be taking place from 29 March to 14 April at Goodrich Castle, Stokesay Castle, Wroxeter Roman City, Witley Court & Gardens and Beeston Castle & Woodland Park, and from 23 March to 14 April at Kenilworth Castle & Elizabethan Garden.
“The Easter holidays are usually the first time of the year most us have the time to get out and start enjoying the better weather. Our Easter trails are a great way families can enjoy some fresh air and exploring some of Britain’s best historic ruins together,” says Heidi Briggs, marketing manager for English Heritage in the West Midlands. “With a delicious chocolate treat awaiting all those who can complete the trail, what better way is there to celebrate in stunning historic surroundings?”
The trails run daily at each site from 10.00am to 5.00pm (6.00pm at Witley Court & Gardens and Beeston Castle & Woodland Park). Local admission charges will apply but English Heritage members will get in free.
Easter marks the start of English Heritage’s 2013 event season and the resumption of daily opening at many of the sites throughout the country.
