Eniro completes acquisition in Tampere

The acquisition of the yellow page directory in Tampere that was announced in September 2002 has now been completed, following an approval from the competition authorities.  The acquired operations in Tampere - Finland's second largest city - will be co-located with Eniro's exisiting operation in new facilities in December 2002. The Tampere directory is published annually in the first quarter and is expected to contribute about EUR 5.0 M (SEK 45.8 M) to Eniro's revenues, with an operating profit before depreciation and amortization of goodwill (EBITDA) of EUR 3.0 M (SEK 27.5 M) in 2003. The acquisition will have no P&L impact in 2002.   Included in the acquisition is 5.41 percent of the shares of the joint sales organisation Suomen Keltaiset Sivut (SKS), giving Eniro a total ownership in SKS of 35.57 percent.  Overall, Eniro is a leading player in directional media in Finland, with strong positions in both offline and online segments.
