Eniro sells its operations in Belarus

In line with its strategy of focusing on core markets in the Nordic region and Poland, Eniro is selling all of its operations in Belarus.

Eniro’s operations in Belarus will be sold to the German media company, Heise Median Gruppe GmbH. The purchase price is EUR 850,000, corresponding to about SEK 8 M. The sale includes Eniro’s 75 percent shareholding in JV Eniro Belfakta LTD. The sale is subject to approval by the Belarus antimonopoly authorities and some local registration proceedings.

During 2004, Eniro’s operations in Belarus reported sales of about SEK 17 M and EBITDA of about SEK 2 M. As at September 30, 2005, Eniro’s Belarus operations had 170 employees.

Following necessary approvals by authorities in Russia and Belarus, Eniro will have no operations remaining in Eastern Europe.
