Eniro strengthen Baltic and Eastern Europe Pär Kempe is appointed to head up Eniro's Baltic and Eastern European operations. Eniro today has a leading position in the Eastern European and Baltic States markets. Pär Kempe will be responsible for Eniro's operations in the East in order to further optimize resources in the region and also to ensure implementation of the Eniro business model. The region today comprises of subsidiary companies in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus with about 1000 employees. Pär Kempe was formerly CFO at Eniro AB. During 1999 operations in the Baltic States and Eastern Europe generated some 140 million SEK, five per cent of Eniro's operating income. - There is a large potential in the region for Eniro's services. The economy has been stabilized and growth in the year 2000 is expected to be around three to five per cent. It is therefore important that Eniro concentrate its resources in the region and take advantage of further growth opportunities in this market and thereby further strengthen our position, says CEO Lars Guldstrand.
