Ingrid Engström joins Eniro

Eniro has recruited Ingrid Engström, currently CEO of Know IT, who will join the executive management team with special responsibility for Human Relations, Talent Management, organizational development and IT.  "As we move with increasingly greater speed from being a traditional directory company to a broader media company active in many channels and with operations in a large number of countries, it is even more important to ensure continuous recruitment of top talent and constant development of the organization. Ingrid Engström has extensive experience of change management that will be invaluable going forward," says Eniro CEO Lars Guldstrand. "I look forward to being part of the continued transformation of Eniro in all areas from competence development and streamlining work methods, to working with strategic options and the IT issues that result from expanding into new media channels," says Ingrid Engström.  Before joining Know IT as CEO in 2000, Ingrid Engström was president of Com hem (1998-2000), president of Respons 118 118 (1996-1998), sales manager for Telia Mobile (1995-1996) and before that employed by Digital Equipment (1987-1995), latest as senior vice president for Human Relations and Organization Nordic. Ingrid Engström, born 1958, has a Masters Degree in Applied Psychology from Uppsala University and has worked as a consultant with leadership and organizational development and within the Swedish Department of Defense. Ingrid Engström is a member of the board of Switchcore, IFL, Svenska Dagbladet, the 1st AP Fund and Almega ITA. Ingrid Engström will assume her new position July 1, 2003.
