Swedes searching more often in printed Yellow Pages

Report this content

Use of the Yellow Pages telephone directory is turning upward again after a weakening trend during the past two years. In 2004, the total amount of searches increased by 20 million searches in the printed directory compared to the preceding year. This corresponds to an increase in use of 5 percent.

Swedes search for companies, organizations and public authorities in the printed Yellow Pages telephone directory more than 400 million times each year. This makes the Yellow Pages Sweden’s most-read book. A full 93 percent of all Swedes between 15 and 79 use the directory at least once each year.
