Tomas Franzén appointed new President and CEO of Eniro

Tomas Franzén has been appointed new President and CEO of Eniro, effective June 1, 2004. Tomas Franzén is currently President and CEO of exchange-listed Song Networks Holding AB.

"With Tomas Franzén as CEO, Eniro gains an energetic leader with unique sales experience in the Nordic region and substantial experience with such new media as the Internet and mobile applications," says Lars Berg, Chairman of the Board and acting CEO.   During his time at the data- and telecom operator Song Networks Holding AB, Tomas Franzén has succeeded in reversing a negative trend and contributed to creating a strong player today in the Nordic telecom market.   "I believe that Eniro has made one of the most exciting journeys in Scandinavian business in recent years - from being a Telia subsidiary, with directories in focus - to an international, exchange-listed media company, with some of Europe's most powerful search channels," says Tomas Franzén. "I see great potential to develop the Group further."   Tomas Franzén, 41, was previously president of the AU-System consulting company and sales director in Nokia Data/ICL Data AB. Tomas Franzén is a member of the Boards of BTS Group AB, OEM International AB, Proact IT Group and Song Networks Holding AB.  Tomas Franzén will receive a fixed salary of SEK 3.6 M per year plus the possibility of an incentive-based variable salary of 50% of his annual salary as well as the usual pension agreement.
