Enlight completes acquisition of Spreadskill - test provider for the Swedish Stockbroker License Ensures broader services and systems for Spreadskill's customers Enlight has completed the acquisition of the operations of Spreadskill AB - Swedish provider of services and systems for testing and certification to the financial industry. One of Spreadskill's customers is SwedSec - the provider of the official Swedish Financial Advisor licensing programme. Spreadskill's operations will be merged with the existing Enlight organisation and systems. Enlight has completed the acquisition of the assets and operations of Spreadskill AB, focused on testing and certification of knowledge for the banking and finance industry. The Swedish company has 5 employees and had sales of SEK 3.5 M in 2003. The total payment for Spreadskill's operations is dependent on its future development, but will be a minimum of 1,5 MSEK over five years. The acquisition provides Enlight with a position within Knowledge Assurance in the Swedish banking and finance industry. One of the company's customers is SwedSec, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Swedish Securities Dealers Association, responsible for licensing of professionals within the Swedish securities market. "We have had a dialogue with Enlight and Spreadskill since the fall of 2003. Enlight's acquisition is a natural step, and we hope to take advantage of the wider selection of products and services now offered by Enlight" says Margareta Carlsten, CEO of SwedSec. The acquisition will provide Spreadskill's current customers with access to Enlight's complementary solutions for knowledge assurance. In addition, customers with international operations will be offered additional support. Spreadskill's competence within certification for the banking and finance industry is also expected to be of value among the more than 40 larger banks and insurance companies that Enlight already has as customers in the US and Europe.
