The Denazen series revolves around a seventeen-year-old adrenaline junkie with a rebellious streak, her friends, and a group of humans with an abnormality on their sixth chromosome which gifts them with extraordinary abilities. In TREMBLE, Dez needs to find a cure for herself, as well as others who have been experimented on by the Denazen corporation and inflicted with a deadly disease. Her time is running out and if she doesn’t find the cure by the time she turns eighteen, she will die. At the same time, Dez is fighting to save her boyfriend who has been captured by Denazen and has turned against her.
TOUCH, the bestselling first book in the Denazen series, was inspired by the author’s love comic books and superheroes. But why Sixes? "Because as Alex, one of the characters in the Denazen series says in book one, 'Stan Lee already has the patent on Mutants,'" explains Accardo.
