EVTN Invited to Exhibit the Voraxial® Separator At Shale Gas Water Management
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL.-- Enviro Voraxial Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: EVTN) announced today that the Company will display and demonstrate its line of Voraxial® Separators at The 3rd Annual Shale Gas Water Management: Cost Reduction Initiative 2012 on November 28-29, in Dallas, Texas. This conference brings together E&P executives, senior decision makers, technical experts and strategic professionals with the aim “to improve the economics of water handling, treatment, recycling, re-use and disposal in Southern US shale plays".
Water is becoming a growing concern within the shale oil and gas industry. Hydraulic fracturing requires a high quantity of a water and sand mixture to be injected into the formation at high pressure to create small cracks in the rock allowing the gas and oil to flow to the surface. Hydraulic fracturing of a typical deep shale natural gas or oil well may require about four to five million gallons of water per well.
Operators can achieve efficient separation in a very cost-effective manner by utilizing the Voraxial® Separators, whose benefits include small footprint, low energy requirements, high separation efficiencies, ease of installation and operation and no pressure drop requirement. Additionally, since the Voraxial® is compact, complete turnkey systems can be supplied to treat a variety of fluid streams both in remote and centrally located facilities. EVTN is deploying units for the shale oil and gas industry for liquid/liquid, liquid/solid and liquid/liquid/solid separation. EVTN continues to pursue the oil & gas industry but is also receiving requests for proposals from other industries such as mining, manufacturing and oil spill.
EVTN will display various models of its Voraxial® Separator. The Voraxial® 4000 generates 2000 “G” Force, and can handle flow rates ranging from 100-500GPM. EVTN will also showcase its Voraxial® 2000 Separator (flows ranging from 20-60GPM), and Voraxial® 8000 Separator (flows ranging from 1000-5000GPM).
