Building science-based building program from Masco Home Services receives ENERGY STAR for Homes Leadership in Housing Award
Daytona Beach, Fla., June 21, 2011 – In recognition of its role in advancing energy-efficient home construction, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded the Environments For Living® program from Masco Home Services, Inc., with an ENERGY STAR® for Homes Leadership in Housing Award. Each year, the EPA’s ENERGY STAR for New Homes Program presents Leadership in Housing Awards to partners who have made important contributions to energy-efficient construction and environmental protection by building or verifying an outstanding number of ENERGY STAR qualified homes, or by sponsoring a local program that supported these activities during the previous year.
