Simon will remain close to the company also going forward acting as an advisor to the Board of Directors.

“I am excited to lead Envirotainer through the next phase of growth. The company has a great market position, and a unique customer offering through its strong global service network, wide-ranging container fleet, expertise in international pharma cold chain logistics, and dedicated employees,” comments Michael Berg.

“Michael is well positioned to take over as CEO for Envirotainer. He has a long experience as CEO for international companies together with an in-depth knowledge of Envirotainer’s business from the last 1.5 years when he has acted as a consultant to the company. In addition, Michael has experience from both the med-tech and pharmaceutical industries, as well as from private equity. The Board of Directors are very happy to welcome Michael to the company. I would also like to thank Simon for his great contributions not only as CEO in the past 3 years, but also for his time on Envirotainers Board of Directors before that,” comments Tommy Wikström, Envirotainer Chairman of the Board.
