Envirotainer Celebrates RAP e2 container no. 1,000
May 2nd, 2018 - Envirotainer, the global market leader in temperature controlled airfreight solutions for the pharmaceutical supply chain, today celebrated having built one thousand (1,000) RAP e2’s in its production facility in Stockholm, Sweden.
Recognizing the need for cost-efficient and secure solutions, Envirotainer has been expanding its fleet to meet the needs of pharmaceutical companies across the globe. Today the Envirotainer fleet consists of more than 5,500 active temperature controlled ULD’s.
“Since the first pharmaceutical shipment in February 2011, we have conducted more than 22,000 pharmaceutical shipments in the RAP e2”, explains Michael Berg, CEO of Envirotainer. “It’s our flagship solution that ensures seamless handling of large volume shipments and it has proven itself in real life situations, across all continents. The combination of having the largest fleet, a network covering more than 2,000 pharma trade lanes, and more than 30 years industry experience is the reason why our customers trust us with their important shipments,” Mr. Berg sums up.
The 9,000 sqm state-of-the-art production facility just outside of Stockholm, Sweden, continues to build all four containers types under strict quality control, including testing in the in-house Envirotainer Cold Chain laboratory.
