Envirotainer sponsors the Ride of Hope Europe - Team Stockholm
Envirotainer has sponsored Design Engineer employee, Oskar Juras, and the Ride of Hope Europe - Team Stockholm within the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation.
The Ride of Hope Europe is one of the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation many sports events, where contributors raise money for the vital research and participate in a bike trip through Europe at the end of the year. In June 2016, Juras alongside 20 members in the team, will ride a 1040 km distance from Prague, Czech Republic to the Almers House in Varberg, Sweden. Almers House is a place for families suffering from cancer, to get away from everyday life and get the chance of a valuable breathing space.
For the first time, Envirotainer’s customers will be able to view Juras’s journey and interact live through online community and social media. “We support Oskar on his remarkable and inspiring journey to save lives,” said Simon Angeldorff, CEO at Envirotainer. “Our mission at Envirotainer is patient first and to protect the life-saving drugs that go into our active products.”
“When I joined the Ride of Hope, I immediately thought that Envirotainer would be interested in sponsoring this adventure to raise money for the research on childhood cancer, and I was right,” said Juras. “I'm proud of being part of a company that takes this kind of responsibility by contributing to a good cause and I look forward to have the online community join me on my journey this summer.”
