Optimally designed for Envivio next-generation IP and convergent video head-ends, Guru maximizes video head-end 24/7 availability and reliability using a disruptive approach to monitoring by services with customizable alarm management functions, and redundant workflow management using technically advanced Northbound Interface and N+M redundancy failover features. 

Guru can be deployed on single, redundant or a cluster of servers to allow for scale and increased robustness.

In addition, Guru’s Service Oriented Monitoring, provides fast and efficient troubleshooting on cable, IPTV, satellite and OTT networks.  It is designed to increase operational efficiency of the video service provider’s Network Operations Center (NOC) and improve the consumer’s overall quality of experience. 

For instance, Guru enables content distributors to manage their systems by service per channel and across the video chain.  With Guru’s Scheduled Service Control Application, video distributors can also control jobs at the service level for adding logos, scheduling blackouts and recordings, and its intuitive, web-based user interface has a customizable system layout.
