Enzymatica: ColdZyme® Mouth Spray on pharmacy chain Medstop’s shelves

The biotechnology company Enzymatica has agreed with the pharmacy chain Medstop that ColdZyme Mouth Spray will be included in the ordinary range of Medstop. The product will be available from next week on Medstop’s 67 pharmacies located in Swedens metropolitan regions Mälardalen, Gothenburg and Skåne.

Enzymaticas medical device ColdZyme Mouth Spray against common colds will be on sale in the ordinary range of Medstop´s pharmacy outlets from next week, (week.41). The launch of ColdZyme on Medstop takes place in the middle of the common cold season when demand for products for colds is greatest.

- We are pleased to introduce ColdZyme Mouth Spray on Medstop pharmacies; it broadens the market further and makes it easier for consumers to find ColdZyme against colds. ColdZyme Mouth Spray is now available in most of Sweden's pharmacies, said Michael Edelborg Christensen, CEO of Enzymatica.

Enzymatica already has agreements with the largest pharmacy chains; Apoteket AB, Apotek Hjärtat, Kronans Droghandel, some pharmacies in Apoteksgruppen, and most online pharmacies. The agreement with Medstop further increases availability for consumers.

About ColdZyme Mouth Spray
ColdZyme Mouth Spray is a CE marked medical device that can reduce the risk of getting a cold and shortens the course of the disease, at an early stage of the cold, by creating an active protective barrier in the mouth and throat. In a placebo-controlled study ColdZyme Mouth Spray reduced the amount of cold virus by 99% and cut the number of cold days with over half, 54%[1]. The product was registered with the Swedish MPA as a medical device, Class I in 2012. A broad national launch in pharmacies and health food stores began with the cold season in Sweden in autumn 2013.
