Epiroc Capital Markets Day: strategy for profitable growth

Stockholm, Sweden: Epiroc, a leading productivity and sustainability partner for the mining and infrastructure industries, is today and tomorrow hosting a Capital Markets Day (CMD) for institutional investors, analysts and financial media. The event is being held in Örebro, Sweden, the home of Epiroc’s largest hub for manufacturing and research and development.

The purpose of the event is to give an update on Epiroc’s strategy for profitable growth. The strategic areas attractive niches, innovation, aftermarket, operational excellence, sustainability and outperformance will be covered. Epiroc will discuss, among other things, the strong industry trends automation, digitalization and electrification; future mine and construction sites that are increasingly safe and productive yet with a reduced environmental impact; the reason for the company’s record-level research and development investments; cutting-edge technologies such as autonomous mines, collision avoidance systems, and semi-automated explosives charging; and the important aftermarket.

Epiroc reconfirms its financial goals as well as its most recent outlook statement, that in the near-term the company expects that the underlying demand, both for equipment and aftermarket, will remain at a high level.
