Temporary change in the number of shares and votes in Epiroc AB

Stockholm, Sweden: During May 2021, the number of outstanding shares in Epiroc AB increased from
1 213 738 703 to 2 427 477 406 and the number of votes from 862 763 138.9 to 1 725 526 277.8.  The change is the result of the 2:1 share split resolved by the Annual General Meeting on April 28, 2021, which meant that
each existing share (irrespective of the series of shares) was divided into two shares, of which one is a redemption share.

Following the split, there are 1 647 531 708 series A shares in the company and 779 945 698 series B shares. 

The redemption shares resulting from the share split will under the resolution by the general meeting automatically be redeemed by the company for SEK 3.00 per share. Trading in the redemption shares began on Nasdaq Stockholm on May 19, 2021, and will continue up to and including June 2, 2021.

Record day for the share split was May 17, 2021. Payment of the redemption amount, SEK 3.00 per redemption share, will be done on or about June 11, 2021. The number of shares and votes in Epiroc AB will then revert to the original number, i.e. 1 213 738 703 shares and 862 763 138.9 votes.
