New European patent approval for Episurf Medical

The European patent office EPO has announced its intention to grant another European patent for Episurf Medical (NASDAQ: EPIS B). The patent, entitled “Surgical Kit for Repair of Articular Surfaces in the Talocrural Joint Including Surgical Saw Guide, covers Episurf Medical’s ankle implant Episealer® Talus and related surgical tools including a novel osteotomy guide for surgical access to the difficult to reach talar bone.

"Episurf’s implant technology has been adapted to the ankle joint through the development of Episealer® Talus. This is the first European patent with a focus on the Episealer® Talus technology.
