New European patent approval for Episurf Medical
The European patent office EPO has announced its intention to grant another European patent for Episurf Medical (NASDAQ: EPIS B). The patent, entitled “Method for designing an individually customized implant” relates to Episurf Medical’s individualised Episealer® Femoral Twin joint implant and its design process.
“This patent forms a part of our overall IP protection in Europe for the company’s implant technology, and gives protection in the field of patient-specific implant design based on medical imaging”, comments Katarina Flodström, COO, Episurf Medical.
