Los Angeles, CA --- (04.17.12) Nick Cannon continues his personal web series to document his recent health problems with exclusive and intimate footage of his visit, with his wife and their twins, to see family in North Carolina. Cannon also shows, for the first time, the behind the scenes of his appearance at the Super Bowl pre-show. Cannon includes footage of him being “booed” onstage at a comedy club in Indianapolis and reveals in a one on one interview for this series, his feelings about his health. “NCredible Health Hustle” made its debut on Nick’s official site www.NickCannon.com on April 2, with new episodes premiering each Tuesday.
Following his recent kidney problems which resulted in Cannon being hospitalized while on Christmas holiday with his family in Aspen, Cannon immediately started rolling the cameras to document his successful road to recovery.
Capturing everything from the moment he had to make the difficult decision to step down from his beloved job of hosting his daily NY radio morning show, “Rollin’ w/Nick Cannon” to working with world renowned medical, health, diet and fitness experts, traveling throughout the country to host America’s Got Talent, running his successful multi-media empire NCredible Entertainment to making time for his family – nothing in his life has been off limits to the cameras.
“I never thought anything could slow me down, but sometimes life throws you curve balls and you have to adjust. I credit my success today with my ability to maintain a busy, multi-tasking schedule for so many years but I also credit the lack of rest that I allowed my body to have in order to keep up - along with unhealthy eating habits to my kidney problems,” says Cannon. “Having discovered the problem early on, I was able to undergo immediate and aggressive medical treatment and through the support of my loving family I’m now on a successful road to recovery.” Cannon is hopeful that in sharing his life changing journey that it will help others to make the necessary changes in their own lives to maintain a healthy balance of their careers, family and most important – their mind, spirit and body.
