Acquisition of own Stock The board of Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson has now resolved to acquire Ericsson B shares as approved by the Annual General Meeting on March 31, 2000 and already announced by the company on that day. The company will repurchase a maximum of 1,804,000 Ericsson B shares at par value of SEK 1 prior to the Annual General Meeting in 2001 in order to hedge its 1999 incentive program in a cost effective way. The shares may be acquired only at a price within the price interval at each time quoted by the Stock Exchange. This share repurchase will have only marginal impact on the financial results and the financial position of the Company that has issued a total of 7.8 billion B shares.
