Ericsson and Telmex have signed an agreement to deploy Ericsson's TSP server platform, a key solution in rolling out advanced Intelligent Networks. Ericsson will provide TSP/IN technology to Telmex to develop convergent applications, networks and services.
With TSP, Telmex will roll out the first new generation Intelligent Network in Mexico, developing and supporting new value added applications.

"Telmex is committed to offering its customers the state of the art in telecommunications technology in order to give them real benefits," said Eduardo Gómez Chibli, MSc., Technical and Long Distance Director of Telmex. "This new generation network will allow us to offer new value added services that further confirm Telmex's position as a world leading telecommunications operator."

TSP is the Ericsson platform for high availability, real-time network servers and controllers. It is based on an open software systems architecture.
