Ericsson appoints new Senior Vice President and Head of People and Culture

Ericsson has appointed Marita Hellberg as Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Function People and Culture. She succeeds Britt Reigo who has decided to retire at 60 years of age. Marita Hellberg joins Ericsson from the Swedish construction company, NCC were she holds the position as Senior Vice President Human Resources.
Marita Hellberg joined Ericsson in 1978 and graduated from Stockholm University in social studies the following year. Ever since then she has worked in different positions within human resources at Ericsson.


Between 1999 and 2002, she was Vice President Human Resources Market Area Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before then she was Human Resources Director at Ericsson Radio, Business Unit Cellular Systems American Standards. She has also been responsible for Ericsson's management planning.


In August 2002, Marita Hellberg became Senior Vice President Human Resources at NCC.


Marita Hellberg was born in 1955.
