Ericsson informs about quality problems regarding certain mobile phones Ericsson wishes to inform about quality problems regarding the Company's mobile phones and makes the following statement. The problems relate to earlier production. All quality problems have been corrected in the new production series. Despite this, there still may be phones with faults, which may appear after some time. Ericsson ensures that customers are affected as little as possible and faults are corrected free of charge. This means that Ericsson replaces batteries and either repairs components or replaces them depending on the type of fault. The problems have occurred mainly in the Swedish market where the products were released earlier than in other markets. The corrective actions, which have been taken, have ensured that the phones function correctly.
