Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture in agreement w/ NetCom for mobile e-mail

Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture in pioneer agreement with NetCom for corporate mobile e-mail - first commercial solution from Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture TM NetCom, Norway, will be the first operator in the world to launch Moso , the mobile e-mail solution from Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture. The solution will enable NetCom's enterprise users to gain secure mobile access to their corporate e-mail and personal information management functions, such as calendar and contacts. The commercial launch is planned for first half of 2001. Ericsson and NetCom have signed an agreement to launch Moso from Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture. The agreement also includes tools for fast deployment in organizations, support and continuous upgrades of Moso. Moso is the first commercial solution from Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture. In addition to corporate mobile e-mail and Personal Information Management (PIM) tools such as calendar and contacts, Moso for NetCom will also feature team collaboration that enables co-workers to share documents, calendars and tasks while on the move. The solution is scalable and reliable for enterprise as well as mass-market demands.
