Ericsson named sole supplier to Greek operator Tellas for multi-service network solution

In addition to supplying the equipment, Ericsson delivers a full set of professional services to Tellas. Such services include total project management and systems integration for the complete Tellas network, which comprises of equipment from other vendors as well. Tellas has also assigned to Ericsson the network operation and maintenance for the first six months.


Tellas launched their commercial services February 3, 2003, and the initial phase of the project has already been concluded successfully. Tellas will offer broadband Internet access and services to businesses and consumers in major Greek cities.


"We chose Ericsson's solution because of its superior quality and proven reputation in deployments around the world, and the recent successful launch of our service proves this", Said Tellas' Executive Managing Director Mr Pierluigi Quarenghi.
