Ericsson opens Investor Relations office in London

Ericsson opens Investor Relations office in London In order to increase its Investor Relations capacity, Ericsson will establish an IR department in London. This will be the third IR office and complement the already established offices in Stockholm and New York. Gary Pinkham, Vice President Investor Relations in New York, is heading the international IR activities. "As telecommunication companies have become the central focus of the financial markets, we want to match the increased demand for a dialoguewith a larger IR group," says Sten Fornell, Ericsson's CFO. Kathy Egan, Vice President Communications Ericsson Inc., will take an active role in the US-based IR activities. As a first step in establishing the London office, Lotta Wiklund is appointed Investor Relations Manager. Lotta joins Ericsson from City University Business School in London with a MSc in Finance and previous experience within Ericsson. These announcement will be followed by senior appointments in the global IR organization. Karin Almqvist Liwendahl is leaving Ericsson after six years in her role as the Stockholm-based Director of Investor Relations, taking on the role of a senior technology analyst for UBS Warburg in Stockholm.
