Ericsson to deliver world's first open-standard CDMA2000 MMS solution to Verizon Wireless

Ericsson's MMS solution is technology agnostic and based on the MSS standard approved by 3GPP and 3GPP2.
Ericsson's MMS technology offers a dramatic increase in mobile-to-mobile and mobile-to-e-mail messaging capabilities by enabling users to send color pictures, animations, audio and video clips along with text, such as electronic reminders and postcards, animated instructions and cartoons, and multimedia presentations.
