Ericsson wins push e-mail contract with Idea Cellular in India

Ericsson has won a deal with Idea Cellular, a leading cellular operator in India, to provide its Ericsson Mobile Organizer (EMO) solution, breaking new ground for mobile data services in the Asia Pacific region.
Under the agreement, EMO will be provided in eight Indian states. Using the solution, Idea Cellular will be able to empower its mobile users with value-added professional telephony services. This also confirms the operator's focus on the corporate enterprise sector paving the way for a leading position in the market.

It is highly important for us to offer a solution, such as this, that will position Idea Cellular as the prime driver in the corporate enterprise telecom market.
