Arun Bansal, Senior Vice President and Head of Business Unit Radio, Ericsson, says: "Our leading operator customers have been enthusiastic Dot supporters since the launch so it has been great to work with them to go live with Radio Dot Systems in enterprise buildings and public venues around the world.  We are very pleased with the progress, momentum and most importantly, differentiated results of the Radio Dot System as the pace of deployments picks up worldwide."

The Radio Dot's iconic design is designed to fit in any environment and the advantages it delivers have already been proven around the world. In Radio Dot System deployments, mobile data throughput has improved by up to 5 times, dropped calls have been reduced to zero, and installation times are as low as 4 minutes per Dot.  The Radio Dot System has also been designed to consume less power than traditional indoor solutions.

The Ericsson Radio Dot System introduces a revolutionary antenna element, or "Dot," which delivers mobile broadband access to users. It is compact, weighing less than 300 grams, and very easy to install.  With its convenient size, scalability, and compelling evolution path (synchronized with the macrocell network), the Radio Dot System caters to both business and consumer users in a broad range of buildings and venues.

Ericsson will feature Radio Dot System results at the Mobile Trends and Transformation Media Group Briefing in the Ericsson stand at MWC 2015 in Hall 2 Wednesday, 04 March 2015, 14:00 - 15:00.  Media may register by contacting media.relations@ericsson.com
