Proforma Net Sales, Operating Margin and Employees As of January 1, 1999 a new organization became effective for Ericsson. The organization consists of three Business Segments and four Market Areas. Below you will find the 1998 and first and second quarter 1999 Ericsson Net Sales operating margin and number of employees in accordance with the new organization. *) Proforma segment results for the full year 1998, presented in the Annual Report, have been adjusted for the interest income on customer financing, which was formerly reported as segment income and reversed among unallocated costs to be transferred to Financial income. From1999, such interest is reported directly as Financial income.
