It is with deep sorrow and dismay that I received news of Anna Lindh's death this morning.

My thoughts are with her family in this difficult time.

I have had the honor of meeting Anna Lindh and I have enormous respect for her deep involvement in issues that affect us all.

Anna Lindh was an exemplary person and leader in Sweden as well as on the international scene.
