Epulze & 4D Esports are proud to announce The Lima Major, the first-ever Dota 2 tournament for the Latin American Region, to be held at Arena 1 in Lima, Perú between February 22 – March 5, 2023

[Lima, Perú, January 11] — The global esports company Epulze is back with yet another partnership with 4D Esports, and this time to make history; the first Dota 2 Major to ever be played in the Latin American Region.

The SEA DPC 2023 is in full swing, hosted by Epulze and Esports Business Network (EBN). However, this does not stop the global entertainment and tournament platform from teaming up with 4D Esports, one of South America's biggest esports production companies. This time, the partnership will mark the most significant event performed for a Spanish-speaking audience yet, in a country known for their love of the Dota 2 scene.

The group stage will take place from the 22nd to the 26th of February, and the playoffs will be held from February 28 to March 5 in Arena 1, Costa Verde San Miguel, one of the biggest venues in the country. An opening ceremony with a soon-to-be-announced band will kick the Major off.

Pontus Lövgren, Co-Founder of Epulze: "Having worked with 4D Esports as their English broadcasting partner during last year's DPC, we are thrilled to partner up again on this joint venture and host the first-ever Dota 2 Major in LatAm."

"Epulze's and 4D Esports' combined knowledge and experience put us in a great position to host a fantastic event for Dota 2 fans in Peru, LatAm, and the rest of the world," says Markus Lövgren, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Epulze

‘’We made it a priority that all the Dota 2 fans in Peru can make it to the event,’’ says Ramon Lopez, Sales Director of 4D. ‘’We are all Dota 2 fans. This is a celebration for South American Dota that finally can happen in our country.’’

‘’Our goal is to bring the best quality of events to everybody here, from our productions such as Lima Major or broadcasts from other events in Spanish," mentions Adrian Mohme, CEO of 4D Esports.
