FAM FUN IN THE FAIREST CAPE
Ethos Marketing hosts UK tour operators on a educational sightseeing trip South Africa's Western Cape and Garden Route
Ethos Marketing recently hosted a Fairest Cape Fam trip which saw Alison Whitfield host 5 tour operators on a wining and dining adventure in the South African sunshine. The group included Harriet Spicer (TUI), Sandra Robinson (Travel Counsellors), Tracy Chadwick (Carrier), William Boocock (Kuoni) and Chloe Gilchriest (Virgin Holidays).
The group stayed at Fancourt on the Garden Route where they enjoyed a fun bike ride around the estate and a day trip to Oudtshoorn to see ride ostriches, explore the Cango Caves and enjoyed a spa treatment at Karusa. The next day they met some orphaned elephants at the Knysna Elephant Park and visited Plettenberg Bay.
Then it was off to Cape Town and Steenberg – the oldest farm in the Cape, and now an award-winning winery in the beautiful Constantia Valley, where they enjoyed lunch and a tour of the wine cellar (hic).
Next stop was another night of luxury and gastronomy at the quirky Majeka House in Stellenbosch before a gourmet tasting and show around at Mont Rochelle in Franschhoek – yet another foodie hot spot with amazing wines and a warm welcome.
The trip ended back in Cape Town at Newmark's Queen Victoria Hotel in the heart of the trendy V&A Waterfront.
