Summer Holiday Family Friendly Deals For Kids, Tweens & Teens

Thinking of doing something adventurous this summer? Why not consider South Africa? July/August is a great time of year to visit for safari and great low season prices. Not only is it an easy overnight flight from London (great if the kids sleep the whole way), but the time difference is minimal meaning there is no jet lag to contend with. The flights are probably the biggest expense, but once you are there, South Africa offers fantastic value for money in terms of eating, drinking and enjoying some fantastic activities available - for all the family.

Here are a few options that will keep the whole family entertained:

GARDEN ROUTE

Fancourt, South Africa’s leading golf and leisure resort is the ideal spot to base yourself for a few days while exploring the famous Garden Route.   There is certainly no shortage of things to do from the youngest to the oldest at Fancourt which is why we recommend families “Stay and Play” with us for at least a week. This allows you to base yourself at a central point on the Garden Route and then opt to either stay on the resort itself and enjoy the many activities and facilities on offer- or do day trips from George as there are numerous tourist attractions within easy driving distance of no more than a couple of hours - from exploring the Cango Caves and interacting with orphaned elephants, to sailing out to the Knysna Heads, sunning yourself on the beach at Heralds Bay or exploring some of the newly emerging wine estates on the Garden Route. Best of all – they have a remarkable brand new leisure centre with both heated indoor pool and outdoor pool which offer a FREE fully supervised Kidz club, a cinema and teen lounge (with all the gadgets they love) for older kids - plus a wide range of outdoor facilities including bike trails, tennis and Fancourt Golf Kidz. Up to 2 children can share with their parents free of charge in a one-bedroomed suite (room only) but 2-bedroomed suites are also available.
